📖 Should You Recite Al-Fatihah Behind the Imam in Prayer? – Shaykh Salih al-Fawzan In this video, we cover an important fiqh issue many Muslims wonder about: Is the follower in a loud (jahar) prayer required to recite Al-Fatihah, or should he remain silent and listen to the Imam? Shaykh Salih al-Fawzan (حفظه الله) explains the difference of opinion among the scholars: 1. Some say the follower must recite Al-Fatihah in all cases. 2. Some say the Imam’s recitation suffices, but it’s recommended for the follower to recite in silent prayers and during the Imam’s pauses. 3.
