I'm Matt Cote. I'm the head golf professional at Fox Hollow golf club. I'm 56 years old. I was trying to save money by trimming limbs off a tree. So I was up on an extension ladder and reached a little bit too far for a chainsaw, a ladder, did a little bit of a shimmy and I lost my balance and fell about 10 feet, shattered my heel. This is his CT scan. I went to Dr Claire and he made it spiel like it was not going to be any problem. Everything was going to be fine. The goal with, um, with any type of, of fracture, and this one in particular is to make it as perfect as you can make it and to restore the pieces back to where they were. Dr Claire basically rebuilt my heel. We wanted to restore his anatomy and, and restore his alignment so that, that maximize the function. He'd put a plate and a bunch of screws in there and put it back together. This injury is, couldn't be catastrophic, but I'm doing excellent. My strength is good. My range of motion is excellent. Oh, it's, it's amazing. I can walk, I can do whatever I want to do. Dr Claire I can't imagine, I cannot imagine going to anybody else. He was fantastic. He still is. Um, his whole staff, they gave me back my life. Now I do what I love doing.
