In this video, I strongly recommend starting from Viswema village because this route is easier, safer, and more scenic, especially for solo travelers and beginners. I started my trek at 2:30 PM from Viswema and reached Dzukou Valley by 5:00 PM, completing the trek in just 2 hours 30 minutes. The first 1 hour is steep and tough, but after that, the trail opens up to breathtaking valley views and becomes a pleasant hike. Total trekking distance is around 4 km. ⚠️ Important Tip: Start your trek early so you can enjoy the sunset at Dzukou Valley and stay for at least 1 night. 🌡️ Weather Reality: The temperature dropped to -7°C at night, so carrying proper winter clothes is a must. I was completely broken. But the people of Nagaland showed unbelievable kindness — a local driver found my bag and safely returned it to me.
