Ragging Horror at Jharkhand College: Armed Seniors Attack Hostel, Injure Juniors in Violent Clash

Police are investigating violent ragging allegations at BIT Sindri after second- and third-year students allegedly attacked first-years on May 12–13. The incident began after a verbal spat and escalated when seniors, armed with rods and sticks, stormed a hostel, vandalized property, and assaulted juniors. Eyewitnesses said faculty present did not intervene. Injured students fled or hid, and many now report receiving threats.
