July 6, 2012 X-Class Flare From AR 1515 - NASA Goddard Space Weather Center

On July 6, 2012 active region (AR) 1515 emitted an X-class flare. Associated with this flare was an O-type CME (~1200 km/s). Based on heliospheric modeling carried out at the NASA GSFC Space Weather Center, it was estimated that this CME would not have an impact at Earth.
