During a recruiting run, we are defeated by a wild Taillow and lose the incredibly valuable Friend Bow, an item we’ve carried since Part 14 of the playthrough. The Friend Bow provides a massive +10% recruitment bonus, making it one of the most important tools for completing our ultimate goal of recruiting all 386 Pokémon. With the item now gone, recruiting new teammates will become significantly more difficult until we can find a replacement. Despite the setback, the episode continues with more recruiting runs across several dungeons. We venture into Solar Cave, where we successfully recruit multiple powerful Psychic-type Pokémon, including Abra. Later, we return to Joyous Tower to continue searching for rare recruits, adding several Pokémon to the roster along the way, including the Fire-type starter Torchic.
