Optimizing this stage was difficult and i still kind of scuffed a drift in the final split. Still a pretty fun stage to no boost even if the first split is somewhat difficult to consistently get right (i'd get a 36 second split most of the time). I know a 2'04"500 is possible since the drift at 1:51 wasn't smooth at all which cost me around 8 frames (yes i calculated it) which is around 0.25 seconds, a sub 2:04 might be possible if you get lucky with ring gathering at the sideway ledge part at the start of the stage, get a good first split, and a smooth drift.
