Everything we know about Muhammad, the Qur'an and even about Mecca are based on stories compiled by men like Ibn Hisham, Al Waqidi, Al Bukhari, Sahih Muslim, Al Tabari and others. These are household names for the nearly 2 billion Muslims who grew up believing that they all either knew Muhammad well, in order to get his story and his sayings correct, or they heard it from those who did. Yet, when we put their names on a timeline to see when they lived, we find out none of them lived even in the century Muhammad lived, nor anywhere near where he lived, but created their stories about what he did and said over 200 - 300 years after the fact. Thus, everything we know about how Islam began is merely a woven tapestry of lies. The books by these men which all claim to be the irrefutable sources and the basis for Islam are nothing more than tales spun up by men who lived long after the events took place. None of them were contemporaries of Muhammad. They were not eyewitnesses either, so how could they give an accurate and reliable account of what he did and said? According to the "Standard Islamic Narrative", the emergence of Islam from the time of Muhammad’s birth to the revelation, followed by the massive explosion of Islam around the world all happened in a nice compact timeline faithfully accounted for by those who lived during the rise of Muhammad and Islam. Yet, no such neat and tidy timeline exists. In fact, if you look at the earliest original documents known to Islam, all introduced 200 to 240 years after the fact, you will find that there are zero eyewitness accounts of Muhammad’s life. No source has been uncovered that can actually corroborate any and all of the claims made by Muslims today. So, why do we trust any of it? This is a huge problem for Islam. So, do Christian Origins have the same problems Islamic Origins have?
