Here is my new project! The Abino A+ grow! You will see a full walkthrough on how to make a monotub. Its not hard to grow them but it needs some dedication to archive the needed knowledge! Being sterile and the right preparation of the grains is a crucial step. After you start to see the mycelium growing in your jars you can just chill for a while. The next step is to mix the colonised grains with the pasteurised coco coir. For the pasteurisation i just get the right amount of coco and pour boiling water over it to bring it into a field capacity. Let it cool down a few hours and you can start making your cake! Dont forget to leave a bit of the coco coir aside to use it later for casing layer. When your cake is ready let it in a warm place to colonise. After the cake is about 60-70% colonised you can introduce the fruiting conditions. The perfect fruiting conditions are when you maintain high humidity and keep fresh air exchange. Don’t forget to mist your tub when the sides become dry. After about a week, or sometimes even after a few days you start to see hyphal knots-primordia, days after you can see the pins and little fruits growing and becoming bigger and bigger.
