In an era without GPS or Google Maps and armed only with an iron will, Peenesh embarked on a road full of risks, merely to prove himself. From being held at gunpoint in Baluchistan, to narrowly escaping a fatal crash that claimed a life in the car ahead of him or detained at the Indian border — his journey was a relentless battle between destiny and determination. Though a rally driver, his driving skills were pushed to new limits, when he was chased by gunmen in Sind, Pakistan and then again in Rajasthan, India — yet no car could match the wide tires or swift maneuver of his Honda sports car, even on the bumpy roads of Pakistan or India. While supported by Shell, ARY, and Honda, Peenesh made the tough choice to decline sponsorships from Pepsi and Zee to maintain a low profile and stay true to the purpose of his mission. Entrusting his fate to Bhairavji, the demi-god at Nakodaji, the car completed the journey — on its own wheels, scratch-less and in 1-piece, only to breakdown due to a radiator pipe bursting, the very next day upon reaching Mumbai, nothing less than a miracle.
