EICMA 2024: Honda 4K This is my video from the Honda stand at EICMA 2024. First up, I would like to apologise... this video is nearly impossible to make to please anyone. The problem is that Honda have so many bikes, and for each they have every colour. If I spent 30s on each bike, this video would be a feature film, and at EICMA when I have 50 videos to make, I neither have the time to do that, nor would anyone watch it. The best (?!) that I can manage is to try to get around the stand with a glimpse of everything. No details, no close ups, just a run round. I dread it every year! So here it is, it's a run round. I put the bit about the changes to the CRF300's right at the start as most probably won't get much beyond that. If you do make it to the end, mille grazie, as they say over here, but what you will notice is that the final clip, which should be me giving the above apology and then being delighted that it's over is missing. To film this video had my camera running for over 20 minutes, and it turns out the sensor gets pretty hot in a Sony ZV-1 II recording at 4K with the image stabiliser on, so instead of a final clip, I have a corrupt file, which is the camera's way of saying "How many bikes?".... I only found out after day 2, so I can't even go back and reshoot. I'll publish the video anyway, but I know it is neither my best work, nor is it complete, but at least it has the CRF300L and Rally updates, even if they are just stickers, lights and Euro5+ engine updates.
