🚙 Mumbai to Goa Road Trip via NH-66 | Exploring Goa’s Best Beaches in Tata Safari 🌴✨ Embark on an unforgettable journey from Mumbai to Goa via the scenic NH-66 highway, one of India’s most beautiful coastal routes. Driving through lush green ghats, winding roads, and stunning sea views, this trip in our Tata Safari (The Black Beast) was an adventure packed with thrill, serenity, and pure travel bliss 🛣️ Route & Highlights • Route: Mumbai → Pen → Mangaon → Chiplun → Ratnagiri → Kankavli → Sawantwadi → Goa • Highway: National Highway 66 (Mumbai–Goa Highway) • Total Distance: ~590 km • Travel Time: 10–12 hours (with scenic halts) We started early from Mumbai to capture the morning mist along the ghats, stopped for some authentic Konkani breakfast, and continued cruising along the breathtaking Western Ghats before entering the tropical paradise of Goa. ⸻ 🏖️ Beaches & Places Covered 1. Calangute Beach – The heartbeat of North Goa, vibrant and full of energy. Jet skiing, parasailing, beach shacks, and golden sands make it a perfect family stop. 2. Anjuna Beach – Famous for its rocky shores and hippie vibe. We spent a peaceful evening watching the sun dip into the Arabian Sea. 3. Mober (Morjim) Beach – A calm and serene beach, perfect for family relaxation and turtle spotting. The sunset here was magical. 4. Colva Beach – Moving to South Goa, this beach offered long stretches of white sand and a peaceful walk by the waves. 5. Cliff View Point (South Goa) – A hidden gem offering panoramic views of the sea and coastline — one of the best sunset points of the trip. 6. Palolem Beach – Our final destination, surrounded by palm-fringed shores and calm waters. Ideal for swimming and boating, it was the perfect way to wrap up our Goa drive.
