Veteran actor Dharmendra has passed away at the age of 89, leaving a significant void in Indian cinema. The news was confirmed shortly after the morning release of a poster for his upcoming film 'Ikkis', which was scheduled for a December release. Tributes have poured in from across the film industry, with figures like Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, and Aamir Khan paying their respects. Filmmaker Karan Johar stated on his Instagram, 'He is and will always be a bona fide Legend of Indian Cinema… but mostly he was the best human being'. Known for iconic roles in films like 'Sholay', Dharmendra was a working actor until his final days, having recently appeared in 'Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani' and 'Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Diya'.
