Join me and the pups as we travel from Galashiels to Polwarth on the Borders bus. Polwarth like Cavers once was a busy settlement and is now very sparsely populated. The Marchmont estate house still exists at Polwarth http://www.marchmonthouse.com and the coffins in the crypt at the old Kirk relate to former residents of Marchmont House. Anne countess of Marchmont died age 38 on the 7th of May 1747 she is one of 4 coffins that lye in the crypt at Polwarth and feature in this video. http://www.dunsehistorysociety.co.uk/...
