After harvesting a few crops, it was time to prepare the patches again for the next batch of seeds. This is the real cycle of farming — harvest, restore, nourish, and sow again. Today was a fully packed farm day. We tilled the soil, added natural fertilizers, enriched the beds with organic matter, and created raised beds for the upcoming sowing. Raised beds not only improve drainage and root growth but also make soil management much easier and healthier in the long run. I also shared some important points about preparing a rich, living soil before sowing seeds — because healthy soil is the foundation of healthy food. Based on my past few years of experience, I made a few amendments and small improvements in the process. Every season teaches something new, and we keep refining our methods to make the soil better year after year. Gardening and farming are continuous learning journeys. The soil rewards us when we respect it. If you’ve been waiting to start your own garden, let this be your reminder — you don’t need perfection, you just need to begin.
