Matter is a substance that has inertia and occupies physical space. According to modern physics, matter consists of various types of particles, each with mass and size. The most familiar examples of material particles are the electron, the proton and the neutron. Matter can exist in several states, also called phases. Matter is the substance of which all material is made. That means objects which have mass. More specifically, they must have rest mass, which is a form of energy that matter has even when it is not moving (it has no kinetic energy), is extremely cold (it has no thermal energy), etc. Matter is a word that is sometimes used in varying ways in everyday life, whereas mass is a well-defined concept and quantity at least in physics. They are not the same thing, though they are related. Ordinary matter is made of tiny particles called atoms. The atoms have spaces between them and they move or vibrate all the time. The particles move faster and move further apart when heated, and the reverse when cooled. In this video, we will cover: 1. What is matter? 2. Anything that occupies space and has mass is matter. 3. All living and non-living things are made up of five elements (air, water, earth, sky and fire). 4. States of matter (solid, liquid, gas, plasma) 5. Solid (fixed shape and volume) 6. Liquid (fixed volume but not fixed shape) 7. Gas (no fixed volume, no fixed shape) 8. Plasma (no fixed volume, no fixed shape, example: electric spark) 9. Intermediate states (Bose-Einstein condensate, Fermionic condensate) 10. Matter is made up of particles 11. Particles of matter are very small in size. 12. Particles of matter are moving constantly. 13. Particles of matter attract each other. 14. Particles in Matter are in constant movement. matter in our surroundings malayalam #matter in our surroundings malayalam matter in our surroundinɡs malayalam #matter in our surroundinɡs malayalam #matter in our surtoundings malayalam ncert class 9 matter in our surroundings malayalam matter in our surroundings class 9 matter in our surroundings part 1 class 9 matter in out surroundinɡs questions malayalam matter, states of matter in malayalam and englsih ncert class 9 matter and it's surroundings in malayalam Subscribe my channel : https://www.youtube.com/c/EasyPhysics...
