So the clod edits have gone a totally different direction. I withheld part III (the final stock clod edit) after a subscriber challenged me to rip a backflip. 2 things I don't recommend doing. Boosting your Clod without a chassis upgrade and trying to flip them. I ordered 2x 880 ESC's, one for a jconcepts chassis swap and the other..... i wont reveal yet. i will still upload the stock clod part III at some stage without the usual hoohah. I saw the only way to guarantee enough rotation to not land upside and kill my Clod would be to stick one of the 880's in, paired with twin tamiya super stock BZ 23T motors and powered by twin LRP 5000mAh 7.2V NiMh. I poached those crappy blue battery cradles off the Boomerang and tied the extra battery at the worst possible point for COG using some weird velcro string that I must have kept for this very moment. The 880 ESC with the extra 5000 mAh is off the hook. Naturally I didnt increase pinion and spur like you should, so the clod was a little squirelly (virtually impossible to drive straight) Just reduced the steering rate and sent toward the jump. i probably should add, the Blue stepside F150 in the thumbnail is the body the Jconcepts aluminum chassis will be mated to. Currently painting it (badly) Anyway this edit is slightly different with a little bit of raw sound and no music at the end. Anyway, highly recommend the Hobbywing 880. im yet to overheat it, make sure you have a hobbywing program card to flash it from lipo to nimh if needed. Default setting is lipo. Also I only use Savox servos, never had a issue. This ones been to hell, one of those water proof blue ones. Got it cheap its earned it's keep. Do me a favor, like the edits for me cos I'm working hard here. Thanks to all the buggyluvas from all over.
