The Second Issue had mailing label at one time, but its whereabouts is shrouded in the mists that surround things lost sometime in the last 70 years. The highlight of the issue is the Article about the New York Yankees and their prospects for October baseball. With our 20/20 hindsight we know the story does not end well for the Bombers in 1954. The Cleveland Indians would go on to win 111 games to finish 8 games ahead of the Yankees. Their consecutive streak of World Series Championships was halted at five. In the Senior Circuit the New York Giants finished first with a record of 97-57. It has been said that when Willie Mays made The Catch of Vic Wertz' 440-foot drive in the eighth inning with two men on base and the score tied at 2 runs apiece, it broke the back of the Indians. The Giants went on to win Game 1 5-2 in the tenth inning on Dusty Rhodes pinch hit three run home run. They never looked back sweeping Cleveland in four straight games.
