KOA Los Angeles Pomona Fairplex in Pomona California offers full hookup RV sites for short term and long term stays, tent sites, and camping cabins. Located in an urban setting a short drive from most of Southern California’s major destinations the park is well suited as a base camp for exploring the region. Pomona is advantaged due to the confluence of multiple freeways within a short distance; when traffic backs up on one you can usually route around to another. The real advantage to the KOA Los Angeles Pomona Fairplex is related to the last part of their name. The campground is immediately adjacent to the Pomona Fairplex Fairgrounds. Walk from your site to the entrance booths and in to whatever event you are attending. Site roads and parking pads are all blacktop pavement. Sites are separated by small grass patches but overall are sandwiched pretty tight (it is an urban area where space is a premium). Management does a good job of spacing rigs out as occupancy allows. The park also accepts longer term guests and they get the unfortunate position of literally being right on top of one another; it is incredibly tight in that area of the park. Tent camping is available on grass/ dirt pads; not much privacy but still an option. For a more private option there are camping cabins available for rent. The office has a small store with food and camp items. The pool is cold and the spa is warm both are set in a gated area with chairs and tables. Larger rigs (40+ feet) must use caution navigating and parking. The tight roads, sites and many trees form a host of hazards. Overall the park is a nice option in the area. http://www.campgroundviews.com/listin... Music licensed from: MusicBakery.com or PremiumBeats.com depending upon the track.
