122 GHz VK5 Project - Full "Break-in" CW Test!!

Another prototype (#4) built tonight to finish off the construction video. Just for a laugh, I thought I would test the CW mode with the change over delay set to 10 mS in software and place a CW key across the R/T switch (Pin 1 to Pin 6) to switch. Instant break-in CW! No sign of any warble, chirp or instability .. better than some signals on much lower frequencies and this is 122 GHz !! No GPS locking being used, just good quality 10 MHz OCXO's to lock both ends. The receiving end is my old DL2AM transverter that uses a 100 MHz crystal referenced DRO oscillator. To put all this in context, when I key the transmitter the PLL is shifting 146 MHz between the receive LO (122104.00 MHz) and the transmit frequency (122250.240 MHz) on every dot or dash and back again on a space! You can hear the receiver noise in the back ground come up in between dots/dashes. The ADF4159 PLL can change frequency much quicker than I can send. The PLL locks in under 10mS so the baud rate required for multi-frequency tones in WSJT-X should not be an issue. As the PLL has a dedicated data (FSK) pin we just need to incrementing one register value to a preset number for each tone during a JT4f transmission.
