IT’S OVER 9000!” Back in 2022, I created the King Olly Show with its first episode being the Top 10 Worst Villains of all Time which that list already became outdated as it showed how unscripted and terrible it was and I had no clue what I was doing back then as I should’ve done proper research. But it doesn’t matter, because nowadays I’ve got an actual script writer to help me improve the writing for my future videos and I’m planning to do a remake of that list to show that my opinions changed. Anyways, what could possibly be the best way to celebrate my 9,000 subscribers special? I’m talking about my Top 10 Favourite Villains of all time. But in all seriousness, we all know what an antagonist is, the antagonist is someone (especially in the Pure Evil category) who does bad things to contradict the hero or the protagonist. Everyone knows it, they know it, I know it and YOU know it. However, what makes a villain so iconic and memorable is an evil and entertaining cocktail of traits that are ALL worth diving into. The rules for this list are very simple: 1. One villain per franchise, this is to avoid being bias towards a certain franchise and to include as many different villains as possible. 2. Villains from all different kinds of media are allowed, so movies, shows, games, books, anime and manga are allowed. 3. While a villain can redeem themselves, they must have at least as much of a villainous reputation as a heroic one, so if a villain does more good than bad, then they do not qualify. Villains like Doc Ock from the Sam Raimi Trilogy, King Dedede, Meta Knight and Magolor from Kirby and Loki from the MCU are disqualified from my list and they do not count. 4. No anti-heroes or villain protagonists on the list. Only characters who are actively seen as villains to their storyline. Also, if a villain you like didn’t make it to my list, then please do not take it personally, there are millions of villains from media out there and a lot of them are amazing. I just cannot include them all because otherwise this video would last longer. And again, this is my list. And also, shout out to Nathan The Casual Gamer for making an appearance in the video.
