Here is the second part of a compilation of Norfolk Southern action in Bellevue, Ohio. Bellevue is home to Moorman Yard, named after Wick Moorman, the recently retired CEO of Norfolk Southern. Moorman yard is a double-hump yard, the only double-hump yard on the eastern side of the United States, and the largest yard on the Norfolk Southern system. As stated before, Bellevue is known for its Nickel Plate Road heritage, as two of the lines going in and out of Bellevue are former NKP lines. The Fostoria District is the former NKP mainline, and the line from Bellevue up to Toledo is also a former NKP line. The third line going into Bellevue for NS is the former N&W (previously Pennsy) line from Columbus to Sandusky, Ohio. All three lines converge by the railpark and viewing platform on Monroe Street for some great views of trains going in and out of Moorman Yard.
