Oiran procession at Edomura, Nikko, Japan. Edomura is a Theme Park in Japan, Nikko. You can check out buildings (homes, shops, magistrate, samurai residence) which are similar to the ones being built in the Edo-period. Also there are various programs to attend. Like Ninja Theatre, Boat Cruise, seasonal events and Oiran Parade (which you can see in the video). The programs are only in Japanese, but you can enjoy the Ninja Theatre, the Haunted House, the maze and some others without any language knowledge. There are several Theme Parks in Japan and it can be a unique and funny experience to check out one. I have visited 3 of them (Edomura, Toei Eigamura and Azuchi Momoyama Bunka Mura), but Edomura really is the best. And it is near to Tokyo. (Toei Eigamura is within Kyoto city and is also a really good place to visit.)
