First Lady's remarks - Maranyundo Girls School Inauguration and Graduation Ceremony |4 November 2017

First Lady Jeannette Kagame joined students, parents, and the graduating girls from O Level and A Level at the inauguration and graduation ceremony, held at Maranyundo Girls School on 4 November 2017. Also present at the event, Minister of Education, Honourable Dr. Musafiri Papias Malimba, Maranyundo Initiative Board Chair, Daphne Petri, and Headmistress of Maranyundo Girls School, Sister Marie Juvenale. First Lady Jeannette Kagame inaugurated the school's new learning facilities, which included nine classrooms, science laboratories, and a fully equipped computer room. The graduation ceremony had 60 girls from O Level and 57 from A Level; the first A Level graduating from the school since it opened its doors in 2008.
