Right now in The War Within, Elemental is in one of the best states it’s been in for years. It’s fast, reactive, bursty, and built around procs like Deeply Rooted Elements that make the spec feel fun and engaging, which is exactly why I’m so concerned about the direction it’s heading in with Midnight. Today I go over what’s changing for Elemental, how the spec feels to play right now versus what we’re seeing in Midnight, and why a lot of longtime Elemental players are starting to get really uneasy about Blizzard’s new design direction.
