At the beginning of May 2023, I headed off to the Alps with a fine team from Sky Expeditions to make a film about the opening of a major highline at La Croix des Têtes. This limestone giant dominates the whole valley and impresses with the verticality of its West face, reputed to be the highest in France. It's here that our team has installed the most vertical line in the Alps, with 650m of direct void underfoot and an exposure of 1650m. But before having the privilege of walking where the birds fly, we had to face up to the demanding installation conditions.
