Yoga on High: Joint Sesh | The Underbelly x We Go High NC | Jessamyn Stanley Yoga

Yoga on High is a partnership between The Underbelly and We Go High. This union taps into a shared mission: to spend time together as a community, to make space for you to find the practices that work for you, and to invite you to challenge the reasons the world has told you that you cannot. The vision of Yoga On High aims to bring together two self-healing practices: yoga and cannabis. People have been practicing yoga and consuming cannabis for thousands of years, often at the same time, and almost always seeking a similar kind of spiritual opening. We are fostering a wellness community that can access these practices without shame. Our mission is to create and foster a community for everyone, including those who have ever felt overlooked, underserved, or left out by traditional ideas of “wellness”. We encourage everyone to responsibly challenge the myths about weed by discussing why and how we consume. In this way, we work to normalize, or destigmatize, our cannabis use. When we practice breathing in yoga, we normalize offering life to our stigmatized bodies, regardless of how or why it is challenging. All of us are welcome On High.
