In this video, I’ll present all of Kaneki’s forms in Tokyo Ghoul. 14: Human At the beginning of the story, Kaneki is a kind and defenseless boy. He has no friends except Hide, his best friend, and he loves books. He is just a student, and relationships are not his strong suit. But Kaneki finally meets someone who shares his love for books—a girl with purple hair named Rize. Kaneki didn’t know it yet, but his destiny changed the moment this woman crossed his path. He is drawn to her, who appears frightened, as ghoul attacks had recently occurred near his home. Kaneki decides to help her, taking her home. As they enter an alley, Kaneki feels Rize on his shoulder, and she tells him they have a lot in common. At that moment, Rize reveals that after books, what she loves most are helpless humans—and she enjoys eating them organ by organ. Rize attacks Kaneki multiple times, but an accident occurs, and huge metal beams fall on both Rize and Kaneki. Kaneki loses consciousness and later wakes up in a hospital.
