He has been performing for more than 10 years with the legends of Dhrupad genre like Pt.Ritwik Sanyal, Padmsri Pt. Gundecha brothers, Pt. Uday Bhawalkar, Pt Prem Kumar Mallick, Mallick brothers etc. In khyal he has been honoured to accompany with Padmabhushan Pt Rajan Sajan Mishra ji, Kalapni komkali etc he has accompanied Pt Bhajan sopori ji, Pt.Abhay Sopori and highly appreciated by audience. He has proper command over solo recital as well as sangat according to the temperament of raga. Besides it he has deep knowledge of theory and practical of PAKHAWAJ. He has been awarded JRF by ministry of culture for research project and has also completed his doctorate from BANARAS HINDU UNIVERSITY.
