Go to Inspector Panel in Screenflow (top-right) 2. Click on Pencil Icon in Inspector to open Annotations 3. Click on Plus (+) 4. Click on solid fill rectangle 5. Click on the color swatch and add black 6. Set the opacity to 75% 7. Drag out a rectangle on the bottom of the canvas for text box Hint: To get the right size of the text box, take a screenshot of another video you like and bring into ScreenFlow and create annotation the same size. How To Create Text in Screenflow (Text Properties): 1. Go to Inspector Panel in Screenflow (top-right) 2. Click on T in Inspector to open Text Properties 3. Click on Plus (+) to add Text 4. Change Font & Size (I used SF Pro Font at 46pt size) 5. Type in text 6. Set the opacity to 75% How To Animate Text (create scroll effect): 1. Place text outside of canvas just to the right-center of annotation (text box) 2. Select Text Layer in Timeline 3. Go to Video Properties in Inspector Panel (1st Property) 4. Click on + Action 5. Drag text from the right side to the left side. (use smart guides to keep in the center) 6. Drag Video action to 12 seconds to slow down the speed 7.
