Criteria: The number of votes of the 500th most-voted movie whose primary language is English is determined as the lower threshold. Movies with fewer votes than this threshold are excluded. (The movies whose primary language is not English are not excluded from the list. However they are not considered while determining a threshold.) Movies without a Metascore are excluded. For each eligible movie, an average score is calculated using the Metascore and the IMDb rating. For example, the average score of a movie with an IMDb rating of 8.7 and a Metascore of 75 is 8.1. The top 100 movies are presented in a video in descending order of rank. If two movies have the same average score, the movie with the higher number of votes is ranked higher.
