Microbebio How crops benefit from robust soil microbial populations nitrogen cycle and enhance https://www.microbebio.com/ Microbes As Biofertilisers MicrobeBio® products provide more than fifty plus strains of unique and individualized beneficial microbes, each of which have been carefully researched and selected. Once applied to the soil, our microbes are immediately activated and begin to regenerate the soil, greatly enhancing its structure and significantly improving the organic matter found within it. Each of our microbe strains has its very own distinct characteristics, which collectively function to aid in superior plant growth and development. Plants are unable to receive nitrogen directly from the air. This is because the Nitrogen atom is triple bonded to a second Nitrogen atom, forming the molecular N2, which is an extremely strong bond that is difficult to break. Because of this, plants receive the Nitrogen they need from the soil itself. Beneficial soil microbes, along with certain plant roots take the Nitrogen found in the air, and convert it into a form that plants can use and uptake. Soil that has been amended by MicrobeBio® products increases the organic matter, allowing the plant to receive more nutrients in order to stay healthy and grow efficiently. This also leads to improved resistance against unfavorable conditions, and protects the plant from both disease and pests. Microbes promote photosynthetic activity within the plant by using the energy found from the sunlight to combine Carbon Dioxide (CO2) with water (H2O) to form carbohydrates, while releasing Oxygen (O2) back into the atmosphere. These carbohydrates are filled with energy that the plant consumes in order to effectively carry out their functions. Our microbes strengthen and enhance the water retention within plants, and helps to maintain a stable temperature that is essential to optimal plant growth. Microbes allow for greater Carbon availability, meaning that plants will have enhanced energy and greater growth, generating more nutrients for the microbial community. In turn, the microbes then replicate and further develop. A symbiotic relationship is formed between the Mycorrhizal fungi and the plant’s root system. Beneficial microbes are dedicated to protecting the plant roots against unfavorable conditions, diseases and pests, all while improving the very structure of the soil and increasing organic matter. The first spore of Mycorrhizal fungi is germinated in the soil and makes its way to the nearest plant root. Penetrating the plant’s root system, the Mycorrhizae colonizes and begins to create an internal network of fungal structures. Between the two, essential nutrients and sugars are then exchanged. The Hyphae will continue to develop outside of the root system, forming the extended network of fine filaments, which covers up to 700 times more area than the plant roots alone. This secondary root system draws in additional beneficial nutrients and water found deep within the soil, which supports the plant throughout the duration of its life cycle.
