Rigi Hochflue - full uphill via Südwand/Hochflueplatten

Probably the most adventurous route in the whole Rigi massif, definitely the most interesting way up Hochflue. It is rated T5/II, some people also rate it as K3- via ferrata since there are some parts where you can use via ferrata equipment (use your own risk assessment while attempting it). Route finding is mostly easy since there are plenty of ropes and chains and the path is visible most of the time. There are however few spots where things are not obvious (I managed to lose the path twice). The path starts at Egg 1288m asl - it goes relatively flat through the grass field below blue marked ostgrat trail. This path is also marked on openstreetmap/strava map. Strava:   / strava   Strava flyover: https://strava.app.link/wTT0Sl5uWYb 0:00 - start at Egg 1288m asl 0:43 - entering the forest 1:45 - "Nur für Kletterei" sign - I should go back! 6:06 - crossing the gully filled with scree 6:38 - here I lost the path first time as I tried to go further below the rocks instead of going up - pay attention to the stone on the right 7:11 - entering first grass band 8:28 - path is secured with rope here 9:15 - the crux(?) - vertical ladder build out of iron rungs (~25m?) 11:00 - the "ladder" is not exactly straight as it goes sideways at the very end 11:33 - follow the rope/chain 12:55 - somewhere here I made a mistake and went to far to the right - I think the path is somewhere on the left 14:20 - dead end... 14:45 - quickly checking the map to find the path 15:15 - fortunately I didn't have to climb down a lot and found suitable traverse that eventually lead me to the correct path 16:50 - back on the path 18:45 - more wire rope security 21:45 - to the right and up after the traverse 22:08 - route-book (go to the right) 25:27 - here you go straight up using the rope - if not for the via ferrata at the beginning that would be the crux 26:39 - that chimney only looks scary - it is pretty narrow which limits the exposure/vertigo 28:00 - end of the difficulties - just grass and ticks until you join the blue marked trail from ostgrat
