Because of this superior knowledge it was impossible to detect any fallacies in Hitlers decisions. He further states, that in conversations, he as a General, often felt as the one being lectured and not vice versa. And that the Führer in his frontline camps read books from Moltke, Schlieffen and Clausewitz until late at night. Those abilities lead Keitel and other officers to the notion, that it must be the opus of a genius.
