After a day of weathering rollingstock both 9A and 17A had to be put through their paces to keep them in running order. This video demonstrates how I would intend to run a small layout; two mixed trains a day would drop a wagon or two at intermediate stations along the line then pick up the loaded carriages on the way home. Throw in the occasional special, passenger train or double header and you've got an infinite supply of realistic operations. None of my rollingstock is ready to run, being a mix of kits and scratch builds; my NQR fleet is scratch built, the NU vans, NM wagon, end platform NB car and NBC guards van are all kits from Ian Lindsay Models, the NC guards van is a kit from AMK with a scratch built interior and the side loading NB cars are Brunel Hobbies kits on mostly scratch built frames and SEM W car bogeys.
