Instagram -   / msutherlandj   INGREDIENTS 2 sticks butter (227g) 2 tsp vanilla extract 2 large eggs 225g brown sugar 75g granulated sugar 250g AP flour (2 cups) 1 tsp baking soda 3/4 tsp salt 200g chocolate chips 80g toffee bars DIRECTIONS 1. Melt butter in a pan, stirring until it foams, browns, and smells nutty. Pour into small mixing bowl to cool, about 10 minutes. 2. Whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. 3. Chop up chocolate chips and toffee bars. 4. Into brown butter bowl, whisk in sugars, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth and ribbony. 5. Preheat oven to 375°F. 6. Combine dry and wet ingredients until homogenous. 7. Fold in chocolate chips and toffee. 8. Portion off 2oz balls onto a sheet tray and sprinkle with flaky salt before placing in oven and baking for 11 - 13 minutes.
