I was quite interested in these "Smart Battery Chargers", but many notable people stated I should stick to a trickle charger. The reason for this was simple. They didn't want to overcharge their batteries. I don't really remember ever overcharging a battery, but I do remember when a battery decided to die in the back of my 1992 Chevrolet Blazer.
