This surveillance camera is one of the best list cameras on the market for a simple home security. The Wansview W2 Outdoor 1080p Camera is a fantastic deal with a pretty marvelous feature set and you won't need to spend hundreds of dollars to keep your family and your home secure. Expand your home security for cheap! This newest camera, the Wansview IP camera works flawlessly, and is as simple to set up, as the 3 other cameras I have purchased. I added this camera to my system for the reason that I wanted another camera, and as I am well aware of the ease of setting these cameras up, I figured I'd give it a try. As is the case with the other Wansview cameras I have purchased, the Wansview W2 Outdoor 1080p camera took all of 30 seconds to get operational. There is a QR code on the back of the camera and when read by the QR reader in the app of my iPad, it easily adds all necessary camera information to the app.....camera id and wifi info. Once in touch with the app (works on both my iOS and Android devices), the software permits you configure the camera. The desktop software adds other controls. Another reason I like these Wansview IP cameras is the support I have gotten from the firm when I've had issues. Even though I've only had an issue with one of the cameras I have bought from Wansview (year-and-a-half after purchase), customer support immediately replied to my email and remained attentive and professional until the issue was solved some days later. These days, you rarely get this form of attention from a manufacturer, principally with a product a year-and-a-half old. Product support, ease of setup/use and a fantastic price are the main factors I purchased the Wansview W2 Outdoor 1080p Camera and frankly, it has not disillusioned. Even though I have only had it some days now, I fully expect it to work as brilliantly Wansview IP cameras. I would strongly encourage anybody considering buying a Wi-Fi camera to give this camera serious time to consider.
