Professional Vehicle Hood Mount Using Dana Dolly Tracks for under $200

Dana Dolly tracks make an excellent platform for a vehicle mounted camera either on the hood, roof or trunk. To use the track assembly, we just need 4 suction cups, 2 6" long 5/8" aluminum rod and 2 $3 truss lighting clamps. When we came up with the idea we knew it should work pretty well, so we bought the parts and put it together. But we were surprised how well it worked. This is just as, if not better than a $3000 hood mount rig being sold by several equipment manufacturers. This is an amazing way to get more mileage out of your Dana Dolly tracks and have a camera kit that not only gets moving shots, but car mounted shots as well. The extra parts you need will literally fit in a lunch box and convert your tracks to an amazing car hood camera mounting system.
