Grinding in RPGs is often exacerbated and extensive time added onto said grind is usually self-inflicted. Grinding also extends beyond EXP grinding. It also includes item farming, in-game currency grinding, or just the general repetition for practice or mastery of a game's ins-and-outs. In this video, I cover games where grinding is usually option, such as Pokemon. I cover instances where less grinding was necessary where you thought, like in Persona 3. I even give my own personal limitations for what quantifies as "too grindy". Grinding is also not exclusive to RPGs as I will briefly discuss in this video as well.
