Don't get us wrong...linseed oil is great and we use it extensively! This is an option for: when you can't source linseed oil (Alsi in Nepali) readily or the weather is wet & humid like now because raw linseed oil can take a long time to dry and most importantly, budget is low 😀 It works just as fine on bare earthen walls (as demonstrated) and on lime plasters. *Do note that the sheen is better on lime plastered walls.
