How to Update BMW Service History in iDrive

In this video, I show you how to update the iDrive Service History in your F or G Series BMW for free; using a laptop, Ethernet to OBDII cable and some free software. If you’ve ever performed an oil service or changed the brake fluid in your BMW, you will have most likely reset the service prompt using Diagnostic Mode and the BC button. However, this reset doesn’t add a record into the car’s iDrive Service History. Before you try and update your car, please read all of this description and the comments in this video to make sure your car is compatible. If you update your service history successfully, could you please comment to let me know the year and model of your car so I can keep this list up to date. This program has been tested and confirmed to work on the following models: 1-Series (F20) 2-Series (F44) 3-Series (F30) X5 (G05) X6 (F16) Users have experienced issues updating the following models: X1 (F48) X3 (G01) I do not accept any liability for this software; users are responsible for the risks associated with using it.
