Montreal Insectarium visit: Monday, August 4, 2025 🦋🐛🕷️🐜

Here's the video of the solo visit I did to the Montreal Insectarium on Monday, August 4, 2025. This is my first time returning to the Insectarium since it went through a makeover and renovations within the past few years. It certainly was different than the way it used to look. In this video, we start off at the entrance and enter the nicely made tunnels where we enter the first room with some interesting stick insects among others. We then enter a large room full of insect specimens on display. I did not film every display here but I showed a couple of my favourite ones. However, I took photos of every display and will put them together in a separate video. We then enter the final part of the Insectarium where we have beautiful butterflies on display in a large green house. This was something that used to only be on display during the spring but now is a permanent exhibit, at least for some species of butterflies. The visit then ends with a fascinating view of some ants at work, a display that I remember from the old Insectarium design.
