JONAS QUINN won us over during his year on the SG-1 team, thanks in large measure to the earnest and honest performance of actor Corin Nemec. He joined the show's main cast for the sixth season ... but when Daniel Jackson returned to Stargate the next year, Nemec's contract was not renewed. But he did come back for Season 7's "Fallout" to give Jonas a proper conclusion, in a story conceived by the actor himself. Nemec talked about this very important Jonas episode in a new conversation with "Dial the Gate." He talks about working through the pitch with series writer and producer Joseph Mallozzi, creating a high-stakes story, and how it helped him build his skills and his confidence to continue writing and producing his own work after departing STARGATE SG-1.
