We trek through the last seven days on our 15 day trip through beautiful Quetico Provincial Park. Join us as we leave Burntside Lake and make our way down Jean Creek to Sturgeon Lake, where find an amazing sandy beach camp that was one of our all time favorites. We get wind bound at another Sturgeon camp, and find that even in the Quetico, some locations are similar to the BWCAW. Our last river paddle takes us north over beaver dams and into Twin Lakes, where we portage to Dore and then into Pickerel where we revisit a camp from two years ago. Our last night we enjoy one more walleye dinner and a beautiful sunset at the camp we started at on night one. The paddle out on day 15 is treacherous with a stiff east wind creating sketchy water on Batchewaung. The last part of the trip was definitely characterized by wind, which limited fishing and mobility to some extent. Still, the joy of being in the wilderness never faded until we hit the floating dock at Nym Lake. Great trip and hope you enjoy the last video in this series.
