A pneumatic drive or electric drive are the common choices. However, with EvenMix™, you have the benefits of both. That's right, we offer both, but we didn't stop there. We made them interchangeable. While this might not seem like a huge deal to most of the world, we saw a need for this. Our drive system, which is a standard 32" shaft, is made to work with just about any situation. We have designed the shaft to hold up to 3 blades, but it can hold 1, 2, or 3. The shaft is standard at 32," but you can double it for 72" to get the length you need. The shaft is interchangeable with the mixers, either electric or pneumatic. You probably are thinking, what is the big deal there? Well, the shaft and blades are the most expensive part of the unit. This means you can purchase one shaft and blad combination or get different sets of blades to do the different mixing in your shop with different mixers. It will depend on what type of power you have close by. The switch and mix system was designed to be customized right on the shop floor. This means you can mix and match the shafts, blades, and mixer types without a lot of downtime. This is something that our engineers saw a need for. Why EvenMix™? Let's start from the beginning. We set out to produce an industrial mixer that is like no other industrial mixer of its kind. We studied what was on the market and what we could do to improve upon that. While we were studying, we noticed there was a lot to improve upon. EvenMix™ is a very powerful mixer that is very lightweight. Most people think it is inferior to the rest because of its size. Our mixers weigh 12 lbs or less and are easily interchanged from one container to the next. They are designed to evenly mix substances with various viscosities and not only mix but evenly mix them right within their containers. We work with substances that come in drums and barrels to mix in the difficult to get to corners of the IBC. That's right. Our mixers can interchange between all these different containers but also can be moved with just one person from the containers. Some mixers are as heavy as 25-100 lbs, making it impossible to move easily. That was just one more thing our engineers worked on, trying to produce an industrial mixer that was ready to be interchanged without breaking out the forklift. Interchangeable Mixers We did it. We created a mixer that was lightweight enough to interchange with the different containers. But, we didn't compromise on the power. Piston pneumatic motors are typically used in applications requiring precise speed regulation at low speeds, high starting torque, and high power. Our simple modular design and diverse accessories allow an infinite number of mounting options, making the mixers simple to use and move around. One significant disadvantage of internally lubricated radial and axial-piston motors is that grease and oil reserves must be monitored and replaced on a regular basis. Radial-piston motors are larger, making them more difficult to work with. But the smaller axial-piston motors make them much easier to work with. The high starting torque of axial and radial piston pneumatic motors is a significant advantage. These air motors provide traction by varying air pressure while the motor rotates.
