This is the complete 22-minute set with 4 songs by the Tuva Ensemble at the WDR Folk Festival. The Tuva Ensemble consisted of Gennadi Tumat (chanzy, vocals, overtone vocals), Kaigal-ool Khovalyg ( igil, vocals, overtone vocals), and Anatolii Kuular (byzaanchy, vocals, overtone vocals). The setlist is: 1.The igil's lament. Solo by Kaigal-ool Khovalyg. 2. The song of the caravan drover. Чиң сөөртүкчүлериниң ыры. 3. Khöömei overtone singing in several styles (sygyt, khöömei, kargyraa, and sygyttyng borbangnadyr—his own unique style). Solo by Gennadi Tumat. 4. Ugbashkylar Ooldary is a song in which various different styles and techniques of Tuvan khöömei overtone singing are used.
