I made this simple tourniquet and compression bandage trainer, so I would be able to practice and keep my skills fresh and in mind. If you don't want to or don't have the ability to make this trainer, but you want a way besides using yourself for training, there are commercial training aids available. As stated in the video, I use a *knockoff tourniquet for training. Some may not like that and want to use the "real deal" when training, which is completely fine. I use a *knockoff due. I can get 3 for the price of one "real deal" tourniquets. Just remember whatever tourniquet you use for training, mark it training, and only use it for that purpose. You don't want to put stress, wear, and tare on your good tourniquet and possibly have an issue during a real-world situation. You can find *knockoff NAR CAT tourniquets all over Ebay, I didn't see any *knockoff NAR CATs on Amazon, but I did find some *knockoff TACMED SOF tourniquets I will have links below for "real deal" (BLUE) trainer tourniquets and a *knockoff TACMED SOF tourniquet.
