Dr. Nanda Rajaneesh | Appointment booking number: 8971755794 Consultant Onco Surgeon and Laparoscopic Surgeon|Apollo Spectra Hospitals, Bengaluru Breast Cyst involves ultrasound of the beast itself. So we look for multiple cyst, single cyst and the situation of the cyst and within the cyst of intracystic papillomas are present or if the cystic fluid is long very uniform or turbid or the cysts are they loculated or sepatated. So these are the signs we look for ultrasound of the beats cyst and along with this we do tests like Vitamin D B12 test , we evaluate the prolactin Y3,T4, TSH and look for any other efectuive consists if there is any cystic conditions and management we do aspiration of cyst and look for cytology and cell studies. So the management of depends on the diagnosis we do. So for simple cyst we do small multiple cysts we give them simple Vitamin E, that might be sufficient and supplement Vitamin B12 if they are deficient and also I advice these patients to take antioxidant diet. I am seeing oflate many patients with imbalance in diet and too much of oxidant diet can deposit n in the breast also and leads to oxidative damage to the breast that can lead to variation in the hormone balancing in the breasts. So it is very important to follow a very god antioxidant diet and also I suggest aspiration of the cyst if this is recurring and we also advise them antibiotics if it is a suspicious malignancy or atypical cells in the cystic fluid, then w e have to do surgery of the cystic spaces. #BreastCyst #WomenHealthIssues #BreastCancer
