An old Lima Mk2 will never rival the latest ready-to-run rolling stock, but for the same spend you can get a whole train rather than a single coach – and in this series I am going to share a few simple upgrades, that will make a significant improvement to your older models or second-hand purchases. For this first video, I’ve designed a brand-new interior to replace the crude original seating, ready for 3D printing. I’ll demonstrate how to get inside to remove the old one, how my design evolved, and how to produce your own from my files – which are available here: https://paterpracticus.com/lima-mk2b-... I’ll also share tips on getting the best from even a budget 3D printer, as well as modifying the glazing and painting for an altogether more realistic model. The files are free to download, but if you do end up using them for your prints, please show your appreciation with a ‘like’ and subscribe to my channel. And, if you end up printing lots for your entire fleet, please consider leaving a small contribution as a ‘Super Thanks’ by clicking the heart button above. Just remember they are intended only for your own personal use, so please do not sell them on, or use them, or the prints you make, for commercial gain.
